Labiaplasty
Labiaplasty, offers women a solution for a problem that may cause them embarrassment, physical discomfort, or pain. The labia, folds of skin outside the vagina, may become elongated or stretched. This can cause pain and discomfort during intercourse or every day activities, as well as wearing tight-fitting clothing. Labial reduction reduces the labia using surgical techniques.
Labiaplasty Recovery
The labiaplasty is performed as an outpatient procedure under anesthesia. The surgery usually takes one hour. Mild discomfort and swelling may persist for up to two weeks.

Liposuction of the mons
The mons pubis can accumulate fat as a woman ages or gains weight. Fat deposits on the mons pubis may become more noticeable after weight loss through dieting or gastroplasty, or after liposuction. Liposuction of the mons may be desired to balance the look of the lower abdomen and pelvis. If the mons has a mons lift may be needed. (surgical lifting of the mons).

Liposuction of the Mons Side Effects
While complications can occur, they are rare. Extremely rare side effects may include but are not limited to scarring, bleeding, infection, rippling, skin contour irregularities, change in skin sensation, pigmentation changes and swelling, asymmetry, the inability of the skin to redrape correctly or snap back, fluid accumulations, pulmonary complications, skin loss, and chronic pain.

Liposuction of the Mons In/Out Patient
Liposuction of the mons pubis is an outpatient procedure.

Vaginoplasty
Childbirth, especially multiple childbirths, can stretch out the vagina and weaken muscle tone, reducing sensations for the woman and her sexual partner. Vaginoplasty tightens the vaginal muscles and reduces excess skin in the vagina using surgery.

FemiLift TM (Laser vaginally rejuvenation and tightening)
The FemiLift TM is a fractionated CO2 laser manufactured by Alma Laser, Inc. It is used to treat women with stress incontinence (leakage of urine when coughing or laughing after childbirth) this treatment is an in office procedure. The doctor uses a probe which is inserted into the vaginal canal that allows an emission of laser light energy to be directed at the vaginal lining to promote vaginal tightening, vaginal lubrication, and relieve symptoms of stress incontinence. This procedure is usually done monthly and requires three sessions. With the advent of this new technology, vaginal rejuvenation can be performed safely, without pain and without traditional surgery. Dr. Farella believes that the complaints of vaginal dryness, vaginal laxity, and stress incontinence has been undertreated by the medical profession. With this new technology, we can now offer women non-surgical options in vaginal rejuvenation.

Hymenoplasty
Hymenoplasty usually is performed for cultural or religious reasons. The intact hymen, a sign of virginity, can be torn during intercourse, tampon use, or falling. Hymenoplasty restores the skin membrane that spans across the lower third of the vagina, enabling it to tear and bleed during the first post-operative intercourse.

Hymenoplasty Risks and Complications
Risks and potential complications of surgery are best discussed at the time of your consultation.
Smokers have a greater risk of wound healing and pulmonary complications.
